Healthy “Chocolate” Mousse

Let’s try an experiment. Invite a friend or loved one over (you have to really like this person in order to serve this SPECIAL treat!) Make a fantastic, light dinner….be sure it’s light so they have plenty of room for your grand finale!!

This recipe is great served chilled, so you can prepare it ahead of time so they won’t see your “secret” ingredients.

When they are done RAVING about the creamy texture and WHINING about how they will need to burn some major cal to work this decadent dessert off tomorrow…..you can smile and let them know your guilt free recipe!! (Don’t be too mad when they don’t believe you….just think back to the first time you tried it!) πŸ˜‰

Healthy “Chocolate” Mousse

Ingredients:
1 very ripe Avocado
3/4-1 cup Vanilla almond milk (1/2 tsp vanilla extract if using regular Almond Milk)
8 pitted Dates
2 tbl natural Cocoa Powder

1 cup your choice of Mixed Berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries)

AddΒ all ingredients (except berries) to a high-powered blender.Β Start with 3/4 cup almond milk; add more to create the desired consistency.

Blend until smooth and the dates are undetectable; about 45 seconds. Start on low and steadily move up to high-speed.

Layer with berries and try to enjoy slowly so it lasts longer!! πŸ˜‰
